My career in fashion started at Pride Magazine, the UK’s leading lifestyle magazine for women of color. As Fashion and Beauty Editor, I styled and directed fashion, beauty and front cover shoots with models, celebrities and notable personalities. I traveled to some epic shoot locations such as Jamaica, Russia, South Africa, Japan, and New Zealand. I attended fashion weeks all around the world and experienced runway shows from the front row.

Since moving to L.A over a decade ago, I’ve had the opportunity to work with icons such as Lionel Richie, Michael Bolton, Kelly Rowland, The Jacksons, John Legend, Christina Milian, Keyshia Cole, Michelle Williams, and Nia Long. I’ve styled commercials for global brands including Starburst, Ford Motors, Amazon, Netflix, Optimum Cable, L’Oreal cosmetics, Rimmel London and Omega Supplements. I’ve also had the honor of working on TV shows such as American Idol, Funny or Die, Bolt of Talent.

Over the years I found myself doing more than just styling for my clients. My focus is always to make sure they look and feel great, from the inside out. Founding Elevated Styling has given me an outlet to bring this service to a wider audience. I use all the skills, knowledge and insider tips I’ve picked up over the past 15 years to directly support purpose-driven people, like yourself through the journey of creating an authentic personal style that empowers you to show up as your best self every day and confidentially share your gifts with the world.

After 5 years I decided it was time to explore my options beyond the realm of magazines. I moved to Los Angeles and used my experience of styling editorial shoots with celebrities to segue into the next chapter of my career as a freelance fashion stylist.
